“I do chick incubation with the 1st grade. I also did what started as a window sill garden project with the 2nd grade, which has now turned into a 2500 square foot garden area that we use now for our garden/seeds education for the 2nd grade. Other grades use this area as well on their own. The garden area was from a grant from the KY 4-H Foundation.”

PandH Cattle Company

PandH Cattle Company is based out of Eddyville, but they raise beef cattle in Lyon, Crittenden, and Caldwell Counties. This partnership that provides local meat is owned and operated by Phillip Parish and Chris Hooks and their families. They also raise corn and soybeans, and have included fish, pigs and chickens into their business when they are able.
