Hendricks Farms
Hendricks Farms is a row crop farm raising soybeans, corn, and soft red winter wheat. Their farm is located outside of Russellville. Adam Hendricks farms with his brother and cousin and they are now the seventh generation of farmers in their family. Adam loves the farm lifestyle and hopes that one day his kids may choose to be the eighth generation. I enjoy having the opportunity to share my farming story with others so that they can have an actual connection to a farm where food/feed is raised.
JD Country Milk
On a 134-acre farm in Russellville, Willis and Edna Schrock own and operate JD Country Milk. The family moved to Kentucky from Illinois in 1998. Ten years later, they built the first on-farm milk processing plant in the state.
They milk 31 of their own cows and also purchase milk from other dairy farms to process and bottle. Their milk is sold in glass bottles in stores like Whole Foods, Valu Market and other stores in Kentucky, Southern Indiana and Tennessee.
In addition to selling white milk, they make and sell chocolate milk, buttermilk, drinkable yogurts, ice cream mix, butter and eggnog.

4W Dairy Farm
4W Dairy in Russellville is the home to 360 dairy cows. The farm was started in 1983 by Jimmy & Mary Lou Wright. They began milking in 1987. Jimmy passed away in 2014, but the family has continued to farm. 4W Dairy also grows many of their feed crops and raises sweet corn and chickens.
