Affinity Farms

Affinity Farms is operated by the Pottinger Family in Nelson, LaRue and Hardin Counties, but New Haven is their home. They grow corn, soybeans, and wheat.

Homestead Family Farms

Homestead Family Farms is a family-owned and operated by the Reding and McCain families in several counties. The farm is headquartered in Howardstown. They grow corn, soybeans, and wheat. Most of the corn is sold to local alcohol distilleries, the wheat is sold to be milled into flour, and the soybeans are sold to be shipped around the world.


Buds n’ Berries

Buds n Berries grows various kinds of vegetables and fruits, specifically blueberries and strawberries. In addition to that, they also grow fresh-cut flowers. All are grown without the use of chemicals.

Buds n Berries offers a six-week Spring CSA and a six to eight week flower CSA in the summer. A flower CSA typically consists of six to eight bouquets. Customers have the ability to incorporate meat, eggs, or flowers with any vegetable CSA. Delivery is flexible and can be picked up at the farm or delivered if that is more convenient for the customer.

Coulter’s Good Earth Farm

Coulter's Good Earth Farm is a diversified, small family farm in Kentucky's Bluegrass Region that has been growing sustainably since 2002. They offer a wide variety of vegetables, fruit, eggs, meat and other farm products in their CSA shares. They are passionate about growing the freshest, healthiest produce for their family and yours.

Regular Season is May to October, Fall is October through December. Pick up at the St. Matthew's Farmer's Market in Jefferson County, or on farm in Nelson County.

Fairfield Farms Poultry

Fairfield Farms Poultry is located in Nelson County, and their egg laying facility is in Washington County. They have 20,000 certified organic pasture raised laying hens, and they sell eggs on contract. Most of the eggs go to Whole Foods grocery stores. The chickens lay an average of 16,000 eggs per day, and the chickens go outside on 50 acres of pasture each morning at 9 am.
