Thanks to a grant from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund, the Kentucky Agriculture and Environment in the Classroom is providing 20 new Kentucky Agriculture teachers with a secondary resource kit valued at $800 and a 6-hour training workshop on Friday, July 16 at the Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington.
This offer is available to the first 20 eligible teachers who qualify and register:
1 - expects to begin teaching full time during the 2021/2022 school year
2 - is currently teaching in their first year and did not participate in the 2020 workshop
Teachers will receive their resource and lesson kits at the workshop, and must be present to receive these resources.
The workshop will be led by Rachel Wilson, agriculture teacher at Central Hardin County High School and KyAEC Education Coordinator.
