Kentucky Agriculture-Related Scholarships
Many of Kentucky's farm organizations offer scholarships to students interested in studying agriculture and related fields. Check with each organization for the latest information.
Agribusiness Association of Kentucky provides four $1,000 scholarships to incoming freshmen and current college students studying agriculture or an agriculture-related field.

Agriculture Future of America has scholarships for seniors and undergraduates.
Don Halcomb Memorial Scholarship for Community Leadership in Agriculture offers two $1,000 scholarships for Kentucky students either entering college or in a current post-secondary program studying agriculture or a related field. The school does not need to be in Kentucky. Administered by the Kentucky Small Grain Growers Association. Deadline: March 1. Application information
Farm Credit Mid-America awards $1,000 scholarships to college bound students who are children or grandchildren of Farm Credit Mid-America customers majoring in agriculture or pursuing agriculture or rural community related careers. Deadline: December 31. Application Information
George H. Martin Memorial Agriculture Scholarship presented by the Kentucky Soybean Association awards $1,000 to children and grandchildren of their members pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field. Deadline: February 1. Application Information
Independence Bank Agriculture Scholarship - $5,000. Must be a senior who attends high school or lives in Calloway, Daviess, Franklin, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, Jefferson, McCracken, McLean, Warren or Webster County, in addition to criteria listed under specific scholarships. Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts Auxiliary sponsors three $1,000 scholarships each year. The George Crafton Scholarship is for graduating high school seniors, the Natural Resource Scholarship is for college students and the Betty Barrick Non-Traditional Scholarship is for college students who are at least 25 years old. Those applying for the scholarship will need to be qualified young men and women that are interested in agriculture and natural resources fields. Deadline: March 1. Application Information

Kentucky Cattlemen's Association Freshman Scholarships - KCA provides five $1,500 scholarships to student members or children of member families. Applicants must also plan to major in agriculture or an agriculture-related subject. Deadline: March 31. Application Information
Kentucky Corn Growers Association is offering two $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors and two $2,000 to a current college student who is studying agriculture or a related field. Those applying to a trade school are eligible. Eligibility is also limited to KyCorn member families, but an interested student or parent may join the association. Deadline: March 1. Kentucky Equine Education Project/Race for Education Scholarship - The Race For Education Scholarship is available to a Kentucky student pursuing a field of study in the equine, animal science or agricultural industry and/or whose family is employed in the equine industry. Up to $5,000 per year. Deadline: May 1. Application Information

Kentucky Pork Producers provides $500 scholarships to students who are from a member family and actively involved in production or promotion of Kentucky pork.

Kentucky Poultry Federation is offering up to four $1,000 college scholarships to children of Kentucky poultry company employees and Kentucky Poultry Federation members. Deadline: June 30. Application information
Kentucky State University 1890 Scholarships Program - The purpose of the 1890 Scholarships Program is to provide scholarships to support undergraduate students at the 1890 land-grant institutions, resulting in baccalaureate degrees in the food and agricultural sciences and related fields. Kentucky State University is offering this scholarship to outstanding students at entering the institution to pursue and complete baccalaureate degrees in the food and agricultural sciences and related fields that would lead to a highly skilled food and agricultural systems workforce. Kentucky Women in Agriculture Scholarship: $1,000. Must be a Kentucky female resident and a junior, senior or graduate student at a Kentucky college or university and plan to work in agriculture. Deadline: June 30. info@kywomeninag.com or visit www.kywomeninag.com.
Louisville Ag Club Scholarships: The Louisville Agricultural Club will award three college scholarships for the current school year to students studying agriculture in Kentucky or Indiana. Students must live in Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Clark, Floyd, and Harrison counties in Indiana. The scholarships awarded are as follows: Kamin Family Scholarship, Corley Brown Memorial Scholarship, and Charles Keen Memorial Scholarship. All three are for $4000 each, $1,000 each year over four years. All application materials must be uploaded to the online application by April 1, 2023. Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation has a Career and Technical Education Program. The CTE brochure has information about eligibility and how to apply.
National Dairy Promotion and Research Board awards up to 11 $2,500 scholarships to undergraduate students (sophomore through senior) enrolled in an agriculture field of study with strong ties to dairy. Majors include: communications/public relations, journalism, marketing, business, economics, nutrition, food science, and Ag education. In addition, the NDPRB awards a $3,500 James H. Loper Jr. Memorial Scholarship to the outstanding scholarship recipient. Deadline: late April. Application information
