Purple Plow Spring 2025 Challenge - CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.8.EE.B.5 Graph proportional relationships, interpreting the unit rate as the slope of the graph. Compare two different proportional relationships represented in different ways. For example, compare a distance-time graph to a distance-time equation to determine which of two moving objects has greater speed.
We are looking for an educator to develop 8th-grade-specific activities to help teach the standards.
These lessons have math components suitable for 8th grade:
My Kentucky Farm – Math Extensions
Grocery Store Problem Solving (Grades 6-8) - Students will use basic mathematical skills to solve problems related to the cost of food while integrating geography and nutrition to enhance learning.
