Kentucky Agriculture & Natural Resource Map
The Google Slides version shows only the county facts. The web version goes to a Google slide map, and each county links to a web page with facts and farmer profiles.
Kentucky is blessed with abundant water and rich soils, and it is our climate, land, and natural resources that affect the foods and renewable products Kentucky’s farmers are able to grow. This map gives a snapshot of each county and region's leading agricultural products, forest, and coal resources. The icons represent the commodities with at least $1 million in sales reported on that county’s 2022 Census of Agriculture. The total income from agriculture commodity sales is listed in each county as well (a new feature).
This map may also be used to explain regional differences and the economic factors that impact production and where processors may be located.
